Since 2007, ELF and Kawasaki have confirmed their partnership in motorsports and the endorsement of ELF Moto lubricants in several countries for both first fill and service fill applications. For 2016 ELF continues to partner Kawasaki official teams in WSBK and WSS.

Superbike and Supersport categories involve motorcycles closely derived from standard bikes, which further highlights the quality of ELF Moto products to which every rider can relate. The line-up guarantees the races are hotly contested and highly spectacular.

ELF is involved in World SBK (World Superbike) with Kawasaki Racing Team.

In 2016 the Superbike World Championship is beginning its 28th season. Created in the United States, the competition pits machines with 4-stroke engines derived from standard road-going models.

Most of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers are involved in World SBK. The world championship allows them to showcase road-going motorcycles at lower cost and with greater chance of being competitive.

The 2016 World Superbike Championship season consists of fourteen events. Each of them is raced in two legs of 100 km after which the 15 first to finish chalk up points for the championship rankings.
